ProteoStat™ PDI assay kit
The mammalian protein disulfide-isomerase (PDI) family encompasses several highly divergent proteins involved in the processing and maturation of secretory proteins and chaperone activity in the ER. The ProteoStat™ PDI assay kit provides a simple homogenous assay for detection of PDI activity in a robust and high-throughput microplate application. The assay can be applied to chemical library screening for identification of modulators of PDI enzyme activity.
Related Products: ImmunoSetTM PDI ELISA development set / PDI (human), (rec.) / PDI, pAb / PDI, mAb (1D3) / PDI, mAb (1D3) (DyLight 488TM conjugate) / PDI, mAb (1D3) (R-PE conjugate)

ER-ID™ Green assay kit
The ER-ID™ Green dye selectively stains the endoplasmic reticulum of live, permeabilized or fixed cells, and resists photo-bleaching, concentration quenching and photoconversion. An important microscopy application is fluorescence co-localization with fluorescent-tagged proteins to determine the location of targeting molecules to intracellular compartments and screen their associations and interactions.

Related Product: ER-ID™ Red assay kit (GFP-Certified™)

Organelle-ID™ RGB reagent I
The Organelle-ID™ RGB reagent I employs three of our popular cell-permeable molecular probes, a red fluorescent lysosomal, green fluorescent mitochondrial and blue fluorescent nucleic acid dye. The single-tube format makes this multi-organelle staining reagent easy to use while offering fast multiplexed visualization of organelles in live cells by fluorescence/confocal microscopy.

Related Products: Mito-ID™ Red detection kit (GFP-Certified™) Mito-ID™ Green detection kit Lyso-ID™ Red detection kit (GFP-Certified™) Hoechst 33342 (ultra pure) / Hoechst 33258 (ultra pure)

Hemoglobin detection kit
Hemoglobin (Hb) values are associated with a variety of conditions ranging from anemias, erythrocytosis, thalassemias, and sickling disorders. A single reaction solution that is stable, safe, and not light sensitive is employed in this kit. All forms of Hb are rapidly converted to a single form that is measured photometrically at 560nm.

Glutathione S-transferase fluorescent activity kit
Measure glutathione S-transferase (GST) activity in a variety of samples. A non-fluorescent molecule that covalently binds to the free thiol group on GSH, a product of the GST-catalyzed reaction, is used to yield a highly fluorescent product. Given its pivotal role in ameliorating oxidative stress, GST activity has been repeatedly investigated as a biomarker for arthritis, asthma, COPD, and multiple forms of cancer, as well as an environmental marker.

P450 fluorescent activity kit
Measure the enzymatic activity of demethylation processes carried out by cytochrome P450s. The fluorescent substrate is not involved in the P450 reaction and measures formaldehyde, the product of the demethylation.

MetAP2 (human), (rec.) (GST-tag) - Target of fumagillin

Related Products: Fumagillin / Met-AMC

Ube2F (human), (rec.) (His-tag) - For use in NEDD8 conjugation studies
Cullin-RING ligase (CRL) function is regulated by conjugation of NEDD8. This process is facilitated by one of two NEDD8 E2 conjugating enzymes, UbcH12 and Ube2F, which have been shown to be functionally distinct.

Use1 (human), (rec.) (GST-tag) - For use in ubiquitin/FAT10 conjugation studies
Use1 is a Uba6-specific E2 conjugating enzyme capable of accepting activated FAT10 and ubiquitin. FAT10 modification of proteins may, similarly to ubiquitin, serve as a signal for proteasomal degradation.

Angiocidin (human), (rec.) - A potent inhibitor of tumor growth
Binds to the CSVTCG sequence contained within thrombospondin-1. Inhibits tumor and endothelial cell proliferation and induces cell death by apoptosis.

Encecalin - Antifungal
Has been recently identified as a compound potentially active against the dermatophytes Trichophyton rubrum and T. mentagraphytes, the causative agents of tinea pedis infection.
Related Products: Demethylencecalin / Demethoxyencecalin

6-ECDCA - New Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR) agonist
A novel derivative of cholic acid, which acts as a selective FXR agonist (EC50=99nM).
Related Product: Z-Guggulsterone

WAY-200070 - Selective estrogen receptor β agonist
Displays 68-fold greater selectivity over ERα (EC50=2 and 155nM, for ERβ and ERα respectively).
Related Products: All estrogen receptor products

AS-041164 - A selective PI(3)Kγ isoform inhibitor
The IC50 for α,β, γ, and δ isoforms is 0.24, 1.45, 0.07 and 1.70µM respectively. Blocks RANTES-induced neutrophil migration and displays anti-inflammatory activity in various in vivo rodent models.
Related Products: All PI(3)K products

Ethyl-L-NIO . hydrochloride - Selective NOS inhibitor
Saturated analog of Vinyl-L-NIO. More potent inhibitor of nNOS (NOSI) than of eNOS (NOSIII) or iNOS (NOSII).
LIT: B.R. Babu & O.W. Griffith; J. Biol. Chem. 273, 8882 (1998)
Related Products: Vinyl-L-NIO

New Antibodies

CD5L, mAb (9F3b)
CD5L (human), mAb (3B1a)
CD5L (mouse), mAb (1F1G5i)
Human Spα; (CD5L; API6) inhibits tumor necrosis factor-α secretion by human monocytes stimulated with LPS or LTA. Binding of Spα to conserved components of bacterial surfaces and modulation of the monocyte response indicate that this molecule is an active constituent of the innate immune response of the host.

Polyglutamylation modification, mAb (GT335)
Recognizes the posttranslational modification (poly)glutamylation on proteins. Reacts with polyglutamylated α- and β-tubulin, independent of the length of the glutamate side chains.
LIT: A. Wolff, et al.; Eur. J. Cell Biol. 59, 425 (1992) • C. Regnard, et al.; J. Biol. Chem. 275, 15969 (2000) J. van Dijk, et al.; J. Biol. Chem. 283, 3915 (2008)
