Mito-ID™ green detection kit for fluorescence microscopy
Optimized for the detection of levels of mitochondrial biogenesis using live, detergent-permeabilized or fixed cells. The dye is insensitive to changes in mitochondrial membrane potential, measuring overall mitochondrial mass instead.

Figure: The Mito-ID™ green dye selectively stains mitochondria of living cells (A) and is relatively insensitive to mitochondrial membrane potential uncouplers of phosphorylation, such as CCCP (carbonyl cyanide 3-chlorophenylhydrazone) (B) as well as ion-channel perturbing drugs, such as valinomycin (C).
Related Products: Mito-ID™ red detection kit (GFP-Certified™) for microscopy / Mito-ID™ membrane potential detection kit for microscopy and flow cytometry / Mito-ID™ membrane potential cytotoxicity kit for microplates

Fluor-de-Lys™-green HDAC fluorometric activity assay kit
A complete kit for measuring histone deacetylase (HDAC) or sirtuin activity from cell or nuclear extracts, immunoprecipitates or purified enzymes. The assay employs Fluor de Lys™-green, a new substrate offering higher sensitivity and an excitation and emission (485/530nm) that avoids quenching and fluorescent interference from compounds absorbing in the near UV and blue range.

Figure: Class I, Class IIb, Class IV recombinant HDACs and sirtuins deacetylate the Fluor de Lys™-green substrate
Related Products: Fluor-de-Lys™ HDAC fluorometric activity assay kit / Fluor-de-Lys™ HDAC fluorometric cellular activity assay kit / Other HDAC assays / Deacetylase enzymes & substrates

BML-275 - A novel AMPK inhibitor
A selective ATP-competitive inhibitor of AMP kinase (Ki=109nM in the absence of AMP). It displays no significant inhibition of ZAPK, SYK, PKCT, PKA and JAK3.
Related Products: AMPK (human), (rec.) / AMARA peptide substrate / SAMS peptide substrate

SL-327- A selective MEK1 and MEK2 inhibitor
A selective inhibitor of MEK1 (IC50/sub>=180nM) and MEK2 (IC50=220nM). Blocks hippocampal LTP in vitro and is neuroprotective in mice.
Related Products: MEK1 (human), (rec.) (His-tag) / [pSer218/222]MEK1/2 (human), pAb

SD-169 - A p38α and p38β inhibitor
An indole derivative that inhibits p38α (IC50=3.2nM) and p38β (IC50=122nM), but not p38γ (IC50>50µM), ERK, JNK or MAPKAP2.
Related Products: JX-401 / p38 kinase reagents

FTO [Fat Mass and Obesity Associated Protein] (rat), (rec.) (His-tag)
Produced in E. coli.
Related Products: FTO (human), (rec.) (His-tag) / FTO (mouse), (rec.) (His-tag)

Enniatin A - Ionophore antibiotic
Enniatins are a family of depsipeptides produced by several species of the filamentous fungus Fusarium with antitumor activity.
Related Products: Enniatin A1 / Enniatin B / Enniatin B1

Hydroxytyrosol . acetate - An antioxidant comparable to Resveratrol
Phenolic compound found in the leaves and fruits of olive (Olea eurolaea). Has been shown to have anticancer and antiviral effects.
Related Product: Resveratrol

New Antibodies

Ubiquitin, mAb (EX-9)
Recognizes mono- and polyubiquitin protein conjugates, free polyubiquitin chains and, to a lesser extent, free ubiquitin in a wide range of species.
Related Product: Ubiquitin, mAb (EX-9) (HRP conjugate)

Mono- and polyubiquitinylated conjugates, mAb (FK2) (Biotin conjugate)
Recognizes mono- and polyubiquitinylated protein conjugates in a wide range of species. Does not cross-react with free ubiquitin. Conjugated to biotin to facilitate ready analysis using a streptavidin-HRP detection system.

CYLD (human), pAb
Tumor suppressor CYLD is a deubiquitinylating enzyme (DUB) that antagonizes NF-κB and JNK signaling by disassembly of Lys63-linked ubiquitin chains. The DUB activity of CYLD is mediated by its C-terminal ubiquitin specific protease (USP) domain.
Related Products: Ubiquitin deconjugating enzymes / Ubiquitin chains

DNER (human), pAb
Delta and Notch-like epidermal growth factor-related receptor [DNER] activates the Notch1 signaling pathway.
Related Products: DNER (extracellular domain) (human), (rec.) / DNER (extracellular domain) (human):Fc (human), (rec.)
